- Today, I saw a turtle on the road so I swerved, and hit a tree. The people behind me then hit the turtle. FML
- Today,
I was walking down the street to go to the movies, when I got punched
in the back of the head. When I turned around, a stranger said, "HAHA!
It's punch a random person day!" When I asked him why he chose me, he
replied "You're ugly." FML
- Today,
my boyfriend broke up with me because I wasn't there to watch a
football game with him, like I always do when I get the chance. I was at
my brother's funeral. FML
- Today,
I got home from work to find my house covered in graffiti dicks, the
windows smashed, the front lawn entirely ripped up, and my letter box
containing dog shit. I also found a note taped to the door saying, "Suck
on this Darren". Darren is my next door neighbor. FML
- Today,
while babysitting a five year old, I found a cartoon called
Metalocalypse for him to watch while I made dinner. I didn't realize it
was an "adult" cartoon until afterwards. He watched a whole episode
about a clown with a cocaine problem. FML
- Today,
the whole family came together to celebrate my grandmother's 80th
birthday. My grandfather read a poem he'd written about how he had taken
my grandmother's virginity 60 years ago. It went on for about 30
minutes. FML
- Today, my dad came home from work complaining about all the people he'd
seen. He said he doesn't understand why so many people with problems
have to confide in him. He's a psychologist. FML
- Today,
I found out that the 2 loud "firework booms" I heard were actually a
guy shooting his dog on the unfinished road behind my house. FML
- Today,
my sister confessed to me that she sold some of my old shirts to the
girl who's stalking me. This explains why I got a note that read, "I
have your scent, now I can track you." FML
- Today,
it's my birthday. I got a phone call from my high school bully, to
remind me that he'll always be able to find me and do whatever he wants
to me. He does this every year. I turn 34 today. FML
- Today,
my family attended the funeral of an old family friend's baby, who died
in childbirth. Afterwards, my husband went around snickering and
quietly telling dead baby jokes to the other attendees. FML
